Description:

Bollywood Dance for Ages 5-8 years old.

 

Step into the vibrant world of Bollywood with our exciting and energetic class with Raashi! This dance class is designed for our younger dancers who want to experience the joy and exuberance of Bollywood dance while learning its unique techniques and styles. While this class focuses on beat recognition, body movement and building stamina, the dancers will also learn to incorporate hand gestures (mudras) and fundamental footwork into a dance routine.

 

*2024 Moksha Arts T-Shirt Included in Fee

 

*Fall semester will end with a year-end dancer-only showcase on Thursday, December 14th @ 5:30pm. Please note this is a tentative date & time based on theater availability. Final details will be released in November. 

 

*All dancers participating in the showcase will need to attend the mandatory rehearsal on Sunday, December 10th @Playwrights Studio.  

 

*Students dance barefoot in studio. Upon arrival, students will remove socks and shoes in studio. 

 

*Students should wear comfortable clothing such as Moksha Arts t-shirt and leggings/sweatpants. No dresses or skirts.

 

*Hair must be pulled back/tied up.

 

*Please send dancer with a water bottle to class. 

 

*Make-up class is not provided for missed classes by student. Make-up is only provided should Moksha Arts cancel a class due to teacher emergency.

Additional Information:

Parents and guardians are not allowed to wait in the studio while classes occur. No outside food allowed. Please eat all snacks outside.
