Grades 9&10: Vibhishana Gita & Hindu Culture
Sunday Session 1
Aug 22, 2021 - May 15, 2022
08:30 AM - 10:00 AM CST
- Sunday
$750.00 per family
Description:
Ravana of Ramayana time was no different from people who presently stop at nothing to get to the top. In the famous Shri Rama-Ravana battle, symbolizing the war between the righteous and unrighteous, Ravana was armed to the teeth, well protected with armour and shield on a missile-studded battle-chariot. Vibhishana felt that Shri Rama without any chariot or armour and with only his bow and a quiver of arrows would be no match for the mighty Ravana. Students will explore the dynamics of the concerns Vibhishana had and the symbolism behind the chariot.
