Our Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda worked tirelessly for 40 years to propagate the message of the Bhagavad Geeta. Pujya Gurudev said that the Bhagavad Geeta is the “handbook for everyday living”. In order to bring this philosophy into children’s lives, the Bhagavad Geeta Chanting competition was created.

Chapter 18 is the concluding chapter and the essence of the entire Bhagavad Geeta. We will be learning this chapter over a period of two years in the Chinmaya Mission Centers in the Tri-State Area. In this second year of Chapter 18 we will be learning to chant verses: 41 to 78.

Additional Information:

MEDHAVI GROUP: Medhavi is a new group introduced this year. Participants in this group are required to chant verses 1 - 40 of chapter 18, from memory. This group is open to all grades EXCEPT ADULTS. Please select this option, if you would like to participate in this group and chant all the 40 verses.
