Beginner or experienced, singer or instrumentalist, melody or percussion, parents and children … all are welcome.   We will learn and practice bhajans on different deities and in different languages through the year. We will focus on the lyrics, the melody, pronunciation, and an overall sketch of the meaning, to enhance the devotional experience.   Whether you are singing, playing an instrument, or simply listening, music is a powerful medium for expressing and nurturing your love and devotion to the divine. Being one of the most accessible paths to “nava vidha bhakti”, music engages the senses, emotions, and intellect, creating a deeply personal experience. Chinmaya Vrindavan Amrutavihar is a special program tailored for children, who are differently abled, to come together for social interaction, spiritual growth and learning. The children are introduced to stories from our Puranas, taught how to chant shlokas and sing bhajans, along with art & craft activities, yoga, breathing exercises and group discussions.   Classes meet on every Saturday during the Balavihar calendar year from 10.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m.    For further information contact: amrutavihar@chinmayavrindavan.org

Adult Study Group Attendees:  Open only to registered Balavihar families or Parivaar/Sevak members Time:  9:15 - 11:00 AM Sundays on Balavihar weekends   The group will learn simple bhajans that are melodious and easy to sing.  Prior musical experience not required.
