Description:

GITA CHANTING YAJNA HAS BEEN TENTATIVELY RESCHEDULED TO 2nd MAY 2020 AND IS SUBJECT TO FURTHER CHANGE.

Please note last day to register has been extended to 10th April, 2020. Further details will be communicated to registered participants, as they become available.

Our Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda worked tirelessly for 40 years to propagate the message of the Bhagavad Geeta.  Pujya Gurudev said that the Bhagavad Geeta is the “handbook for everyday living”. In order to bring this philosophy into children’s lives, the Bhagavad Geeta Chanting competition was created.

This year we will be learning Chapter 1 of the Bhagavad Gita ‘Arjuna Vishada Yogah’. We will be learning to chant verses 1 to 47 of this chapter, in various Chinmaya Mission Centers in the Tri-State Area.
